Unusual & Unique Places to find Art!

SEARCH & SURF!
If you’re like me you spend a lot of time on the computer! I love the whole idea of surfing, searching shopping and in general surrendering to the machine to take me down the information highway into places that I might not have ever known existed before I google searched them!

So today while on another one of my google search-xpeditions I thought it might be fun to start a weekly Search & Surf Discovery Blog post.
Hopefully the finds will inspire, enlighten, inform and maybe ignite a discovery post of your own and together we can cover and discover more of the information super highway than if we went it alone!

We all know the typical things artist might use as a canvas . . . paper, glass, stretched canvas, etc. but have you ever searched for places that are not so typical? Here’s what I found today on my first Search & Surf Discovery of “Unusual Places/Canvases for Find Art”. Definitely some amazing and unique places!

I loved the Halloween theme even back in high school. Brings back memories.  I think it might be time to search out a new unique and unusal art canvas!

Playful Puppies! Woof! Woof!

After a long trek through the Alphabet it took me a couple days to get back into the "theme" of things and decide on what to do for a new Pop Art Minis collection.  After some ideas and suggestions from friends on Facebook the "Playful Puppies" Collection emerged.  
Kicking off the collection is a royal and regal cutie the "Pug Prince" who was quickly joined by the "Darling Dachshund".  Having a lot of fun working on this collection!  With so many cute and cuddly breeds and best friends this might be another long lasting art-venture!

Pop Art Minis! Alphabet Fun for Everyone!

Whew! After alot of help from my friends on Facebook with some amazing animal suggestions and enthusiasm to push on, the Pop Art Minis Alphabet Soup Collection is C*O*M*P*L*E*T*E!  From the beginning with A is for Alligator to the end with Z is for Zebra each letter was a challenge and a letter adventure! I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them and the challenges that some of the more difficult letters posed!  All letters in the collection are now available in the Pop Art Minis Zazzle Store. Posters, t-shirts, mousepads and keychains are just a few of the items that are available.  Check it out if you get a chance.
