"Owl" admit...I'm totally stuck on the moon and big eyed characters, but can "who" can resist the inspiration of such fantastical fun?! A cute and cuddly bright eyed owl and a curly haired blond sweetheart are quite a pair...what a mesmerizing stare!

Sunday Sketches...WIP...An Angel, A Kitty and the Moon!

Angel Eyes-sketch  by Joni Nickrent   copyright 2011

I went through several ideas and sketches (many of which are now in the trash can) to get to this weeks Sunday Sketch submission.  I like to think that it was my Mom's tap on the shoulder (my Angel) to remind me to keep reaching for the stars...dream big and no matter what life tosses our way there's always someone there watching over us!

A touch of color as the sketch starts to "pop"!

DREAM BIG and REACH FOR THE STARS!
