Set UP Day At The Doll & Teddy Bear Show...Wanna Play Dolls?

Today was the official "set Up" day at the Doll & Teddy Bear Expo in Orlando, Fl. which is being held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.  I'm happy to report that we were able to get a pretty early start and the day seemed to move along quickly...maybe in part because our helper-friend, Misty brought us some awesome homemade chocolate!

Everything seems to be better, quicker and easier when chocolates involved! hehehe!

Before long we had all the dolly's out of the boxes, crates, bags and paper...the IKEA display (which sometimes can give us fits) went together in record time and the Adora Dolly Collection was proudly displayed on the shelves.

The Mop Top Crate display "zipped" together and the "wild-hair" Adora-ble cuties were playfully posed and ready for action.

The Emerald City graphic was wisked out of the box and put in position...why you'd almost think that it was time to ease on down the yellow brick road with all of the officially licensed Adora Wizard of Oz characters...too fun!

Peggy working a little "stylin' magic on our friend Dorothy!

The debut collection of the all new 4Ever Friends Collection were posed
and positively too cute as they stood in front of the new logo (@sanclemenTbetty rocked the graphics!)

The Adora Playtime Babies "gondola" display was a perfect fit for all of the fun-size baby dolls.

Celebrating 20 years of dolls the Marie Osmond beauties were cool and collectible in front of the "warholized" graphic of Marie herself!  Breathtaking!

All in all the booth went together pretty quick and easy!  We're ready and waiting to get the dolly show off and running bright and early tomorrow morning!  I'll be posting pix and tweeting live from the show floor so be sure to follow along or stop by our booth #600 at the IDEX Doll and Teddy Bear Show so you can join in all the dolly fun!
Wishing you a day of jolly teddy bear and dolly fun!

A Little Panda-Fun And A Whole Lot of Work Too...It's China Time!

I'm sitting at the airport waiting for my flight to board and actually was a little bored waiting so I thought I'd sketch a quick ACO inspired by where this little "work" adventure is about to take me . . .  CHINA!

Yep, it's that time again...off to work on the dolly's! Lots of fun projects in the works and it's gonna be a whirlwind trip with some new and exciting stops along the way!  Hopefully I'll be able to blog throughout the trip, although sometimes the connections don't always seem to want to cooperate! Crossing my fingers!
In the meantime here's the finished Pop Art Mini-Mini (hehehe)

"Pandaisy Doodle"

That's all for now . . .  until later! Have a Panda-riffic Day!

Peek a BOO! Sharing with YOU . . . SO Exciting!

As some of you may know I work "by day" on the  product development of and as the "stylist to the dolls" for all of the Charisma Brands collection of dollies.   Marie Osmond Dolls is one of those amazing and fun brands!  It's exciting, challenging, and very rewarding, but today was one of those special days when all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes is recognized with a special feature. There on the front cover of Doll Reader Magazine (an industry Magazine that is all about DOLLS) playing "peek-a-BOO" was our very own "Adora Belle - Frieda Fright Mop Top" and an article inside that talked about Marie turning 19
(yeah, I know . . . she gets younger every year . . . don't we all!  hehehe).   Actually that's 19 year's in the doll business.  It is an awesome article that also showcases the  "Adora-belle" collection of articulated Mop Tops, which as one of the peeps behind the scenes coordinating and  helping in the design process and  the day to day development . . . it's soooo exciting and fun to be a part of this recognition.
Here's a few more shots of the pages from the article.

Aren't they just the cutest . . . I know I'm not too biased!
And if you haven't had your dolly fill yet . . .
We also have some more amazing collections  (that I just happen to know personally from development start to finish...hehehe) from baby dolls to witches, beautiful Reproduction Bru's to cute as can be toddler dolls. from Kewpie to Penny Brite and everything in between.
Come check them all out when you have a minute or a few, uh . . . days (yeah, there's that many . . . hehehe)  I'm sure if you love dolls you're gonna find one you can't live without!

Have a Delightful Dolly Day!

A Day In The Park - SNaP! FLasH! PoP! . . . It's Picture Time!

What a morning, well yesterday morning actually . . .with the dew still fresh on the ground, off to the park we went for an on location photo shoot. From Celebrations of the Seasons to Tea Parties and even a little football-cheer action thrown in for good measure this was one fantastically fun shoot. So, here’s a behind the scenes look of some of the fun that we had as the dolly’s and some very special friends helped make this day one full of fun, sNaPs and camera FLasHeS!

You can find these and more amazing dolls on our Paradise Galleries website!
A special thanks to Kristin @ Blue Sky's Studios for capturing this amazing day and for all of our new little friends that loved playing dolls!
