12 Months of Snap, Crackle, Poppin' Fun . . . Colorful Calendar Collage

A quick post to share a collage of the Snap, Crackle,  Pop Art Minis Calendar designs that will soon be featured on a new 2011 Calendar in the Pop Art Minis Zazzle Store.  I'm working on the cover art now and hope to have the calendar ready for sale soon!   The creative ideas, inspirations and awesome comments that many of you gave along the way made this project one of the most enjoyable that I have worked on!

"Peek-A-BOO!" & "Gobble Gobble" Complete The Year!

IT'S DONE!

Hip Hip Hooray...all of the designs are complete for the 2011 Snap, Crackle, Pop Art Minis Calendar!  Celebrating the month of October with

"Peek-A-BOO!" 

A Halloween design featuring a bewitching mouse playing "Peek-a-Boo" over a jolly jack-o-lantern and both wearing the cutest witch hats!  A little mischief on Halloween night!

And last but not least the month of November with
"Gobble-Gobble"

featuring a teddy bear pilgrim and his "turkey" friend Fred!  That's it . . . I'll be uploading soon to the Pop Art Minis Zazzle Store and will keep you posted when the calendar is ready to roll out!

Teddy Bear Hugs . . . .Mother MAY I?

From a Holly Holiday Design to some Calendar fun with the month of May!  Introducing "Teddy Bear Hugs" With Mother's Day one of the biggest holidays that falls in the month of May and inspired by the idea of the "mama bear"... protective and always there it made perfect sense that it should be two bears! The little cub lovingly looking up at his Mama and  proudly shares a flower (created with the help of April showers)!  His little (rub-on) tattoo shows his love as well for MOM and the buzzing about are those fun little black and yellow insects letting us know that all will BEE alright in the month of MAY!

APRIL Showers Bring . . . Hippity Hop Raindrop . . . April Calendar Design

Hopping right along with the 2011 Pop Art Minis Calendar designs, "Hippity Hop Raindrop" joins the lineup for the month of APRIL.  Combining a few raindrops, a colorful flower print umbrella, and a happy, hippity, hoppity bunny rabbit already to take on the April Showers soon to bring . . . MAY flowers and a few more surprises along the way! 

The complete 2011 calendar design will be available in my Pop Art Minis Zazzle Store when complete.  Stay tuned for more, but in the meantime here's how "Hippity Hop Raindrop" came to be!

"MARCH-ing" On With "Paddy's Little Clover Bear". . . Angelic and Lucky!

Whew, I'm happy to have finally found inspiration for the March Calendar design.  Not sure why this one was so hard for me, but I started several times before finally creating "Paddy's Little Clover Bear". . .  a little Saint (angel) named Paddy...so dreamy with her big green eyes and fun clover wings and Clover Bear . . .  her trusty, cuddly and lucky companion.   March now joins the fun January fun, "Snow Pals" and February's friends, "Purr-fect Sweethearts".

PURR-Fect Sweethearts! February Calendar Fun!

I'm having a lot of fun working on the new designs for the 2011 Pop Art Minis calendar and am all ready to roll on into February with two little kittens who are "Purr-fect Sweethearts"!  Cozy and cute as they cuddle together and form a heart with their tails reminding is that February is definitely the month of love and Valentine's!

What has 365 Days and features 12 Months of Pop Art Minis Artwork?

It's the NEW 2011 Pop Art Minis Calendar, well the start of it anyway! Yep, that's right! Today as I was struggling to come up with a new idea for the next Pop Art Mini design I thought, "Why not create art for a 2011 calendar" and so the designing has begun! 

Where to start, where to start?  At the beginning of course, or that's the course I took.  Kicking off the 12 month of Pop Art Minis calendar is my January design called "Snow Pals" 

A top "hatted" snowman and a silly-willy penguin team up in this first design for a colorful kick off to what will surely be a year of snap, crackle and poppin' fun!  Here's some detail shots for the "Snow Pals" design.

So, here's how it will work!  When I get all 12 months of the year complete I will be uploading them all to my Pop Art Minis Zazzle store where they will be available to purchase as a bound and beautiful 2011 Calendar! How cool is that?  And along the way I will also be adding the designs so that you can purchase them on other fun products like t-shirts, mousepads, keychains, and more!

Whew, what started out as a "what can I do day" has now become a "what month next day"! So, I'm off to work on the next 11 months of the 2011 calendar year! Any suggestions for your favorite month? Toss them my way! This is gonna be fun-tastic!
