Snap, Crackle, Pop . . . Work In Progress . . . Time Marches On!

Thought it might be fun to share the 7 months that are completed for the Pop Art Minis 2011 Calendar.  I pretty much have been going in order except for the one day that I had a brain freeze and it sent me sliding right into the month of December! Luckily I quickly recovered and got back on track when I finished up June last night! Hoping to get a chance to work on July today and than with a big push finish the up the last 4 months over the weekend! That's the plan anyway and you know what they say . . . "the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray"!  So here's a quick pic look at the

Reaching For The Stars...Under the OWLsome JUNE Moon!

The June Moon is shining bright as Mr. Hoot Owl reminds us to Reach for the stars and it's oh, so cool to stay in school with the new Pop Art Minis Calendar design for the month of JUNE! Whoooo can blame him for wanting to share such an Owlsome and educated message...hehehe! 

7 months down and only 5 to go . . . next up JULY! I think there will definitely be some Red, White and Blue celebrating going on during that month! 

I'll be reaching for the stars to try and complete the last 5 designs by the end of the weekend!

Santa's Lil' Holly-Day Helper . . . Ho! Ho! Ho! Here We Go!

I know I said up next in the Pop Art Minis Calendar design line up was June, but the left side of my brain decided that it was going to skip ahead to December! So instead of a June Moon I ended up creating "Santa's Lil' Holly-Day Helper".  Santa can always use an extra hand or wing during the holly-day season and his little penguin friend decided to hitch a ride on his shoulder as they prepare for the big day! 

Ho! Ho! Ho! Here We Go

The Holly-days are drawing near.

It won't be long before we're singing Christmas Songs

And the big day will be here!

So grab a candy cane and stroll down the holly lane

Teddy Bear Hugs . . . .Mother MAY I?

From a Holly Holiday Design to some Calendar fun with the month of May!  Introducing "Teddy Bear Hugs" With Mother's Day one of the biggest holidays that falls in the month of May and inspired by the idea of the "mama bear"... protective and always there it made perfect sense that it should be two bears! The little cub lovingly looking up at his Mama and  proudly shares a flower (created with the help of April showers)!  His little (rub-on) tattoo shows his love as well for MOM and the buzzing about are those fun little black and yellow insects letting us know that all will BEE alright in the month of MAY!
